About Us

Meet the Team

We are a team of two Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology (CAAPs). Between us we have over 25 years of experience working across NHS Scotland CAMHS teams, providing psychological support to children, young people and their families.

Tamara Owens

Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology

Tammy aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for children, young people and their families to openly discuss, explore and understand their strengths and difficulties. She believes it is important to empower children and young people to understand their mental health, while identifying individualised coping tools to support their wellbeing.

Elaine Barber

Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology

Elaine aims to help children and young people improve their mental health and emotional wellbeing by gaining an understanding of their presenting difficulties and developing helpful coping strategies which can become lifelong skills. She also works collaboratively with parents to support them in supporting their children and young people.
